I have recently set up an ADSL connection with Telstra (Aust), and while it
works fine I am worried about the firewall settings in the Alcatel
Speedtouch 510 4-port router I am using. I am running Zone Alarm on both
the networked Windows PC's connected to the router, but I also run Linux on
one of the machines and haven't set up a firewall on it yet.

I would prefer to be able to rely on the built in firewall functions of the
router instead of using Zone Alarm. I thought it would be set up with the
appropriate NAT settings etc, but the config doesn't list any NAT
addresses. How do I set these up?? What are the inside/outside IP & port
settings? Is this a reliable way to operate anyway??

regards

Tim
