I've overclocked before with Windows 98. But now I switched OS...
There is this perk in Windows 2000 that does not allow me to overclock. Is anyone here familiar with the issue? I tried finding information on this but there doesn't appear to be any.

In theory, it shouldnt make any difference what o/s you have, however I found I could get my 1400 to 1700 on xp, where as just over 1600 seemed to be the limit on 98, odd, but true in my case.

Hmm.. that's quite strange. I've heard things about Win2000 AS locking out overclocking too. Something about a hardware abstraction layer.
Hmm. anyways. Probably not worth investing the time in this.
