K7S5A and SBLive System Crashes - Help!!

Hi I have a problem with the following system :-

ECS K7S5A
Ahtlon XP 1700+
512Mb Crucial CAS2 Ram PC133
SB Live Value Card
ELSA Gladiac 511 64MB GEFORCE 2 MX 400

I have a problem with the sound locking up when playing games. I thought it may be a problem with winxp so I rebuilt the PC with win2000. The same problem occurs.

I will be playing a game and after a random amount of time
the PC will crash with a constant stuttering of the sound card and all I can do is hard reboot.

Any ideas of how I can fix this?

Try setting the BIOS to PNP OS-NO and reserving IRQ5. This leaves an open spot for Windows to put the SB16 emulation.
It could also be power or heat. Power supplies can stop under prolonged load, from heat. So can CPU's and video cards. But it really sounds like an issue with the Live.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

Or just disable SB16 emulation, if you don't use DOS games.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground .
