Onboard Graphics help

Hello, I just bought a AMD Athlon XP. This machine's sole purpose will be for video editing. I don't think the computer has any bottle necks except for the graphics card. The card is an Integrated SIS 730S 2D/3D video Accelerator on a ECS K7SEM/M810LMR Mainboard. Can I simply bypass this graphics card by installing a new AGP card. What does anyone recommend for video rendering. Thanks in advance...needy of advice - Ralph

Yes you can bypass the onboard video by buying a new card. I did this when i had a ati rage 128 onboard video and i installed a voodoo 3 3000. Worked fine. All you have to do is specifiy which video card you want to run by going into your display options and selecting the card you want. Can't help you with the reccomendation though. I'm not too good in that field.
