Hi,
Perhaps someone might be able to help...
I'm trying to find a 128mb graphics card for an HP Compaq d530 small
form factor. The official offering is an nVidia GeForceFX for £300,
which is a bit steep! I've looked elsewhere but the problem appears to
be that the d530 only has room for low-profile AGP cards, which are
few and far between.
Can anyone advise an alternative to the HP branded card? Perhaps I
should settle for the cheaper 64mb GeForce4 that HP supplies?

I emailed ATI but didn't get a response. nVidia did respond and
recommended two OEMs that use their chip-sets, but one didn't reply
and the other only sells in the US and Canada. I ended up buying a
budget GeForce 5200 PCI card to get me going, but I suspect that it
will outlive its usefullness fairly quickly!
