#1 Mainboards are not what generates heat problems; the CPU is what does.
#2 Asus mainboard generally run high, around 10oC higher than others.
#3 Please use temperature readings based on the Celsius scale. Most everyone here uses it.

 Have you ever tried cooking an egg on your HSF? Tasty.

Well I can take my proc out and put it in a diff system and it runs at normal temps, 115-120. I put it back on this Asus board and it goes straight to 130 while sittin still..its the board man.It fried a GF2 ultra in the process. I know whats up, it runs too hot. I just wanna know what a 1.2 amd should run at on the epox board. As for Celsius vs. Farenheight, I was born and raised in the US. Nuff said

Your ignorance is amusing.

#1: I just [-peep-] told you Asus board's read the temp high. Try reading. It is NOT the mainboard, it is the reading of the temp.

#2: Well, the rest of the world works by Celsius, and even though I live in the U.S., I go by Celsius on these boards because it is what people understand. So keep being un-worldly and ignorant, I understand why people think you are a fool.

It's 8-12oC; 10o is just average. In mine and others experience with Asus mainboards, it has been around that much.

just a last question.
there is something i don't understand well.

"#2 Asus mainboard generally run high, around 10oC higher than others."

why did you tell this ?

I said it because it's true. Asus mainboards usually read the CPU temperature 8-12oC higher than the CPU is actually running. I am unsure of the other aspects (mainboard temperature), but I know the CPU one to be true.
