Driver scanner HP 3970 Win 7

Hello,
I have problem with my old scanner HP 3970 when installed on my laptop with win 7 os can't detect somebody can help me for this problem ?

first install the hp 3970 win7 compatible driver if there is such a thing. check the hp website for your model number, downloadable drivers.
when loading a driver, turn off your antivirus first, load the driver, restart, turn the antivirus back on
other things like firewall or windows defender may also prevent a driver from loading.
once the driver has been installed, if available, the laptop may respond.

Install inf manually. You will want to use the inf from the windows xp driver package.

If you are on win 7 32-bit use the 32bit xp driver
if you are on win 7 64-bit use the 64bit xp driver
