Hold off on upgrade, Wait for 2Gen PTT?

I'll be due for an upgrade any day now. My v60s is fine, but not
particularly exciting, and the speakerphone sure does a number on the
battery.

Was wondering if there was anything to scuttlebutt about the reintroduction
of new, improved PTT from Verizon.

If it's true, and I decide I want it, maybe I should wait for the upgrade
and get a PTT phone with the discount. Otherwise I'll have to wait if I
don't want to pay top $$ for a PTT phone.

What's everybody else doing?

Yeah, I know, but their phone service is terrible here. We have it at work
and it's loaded with dead spots.

Not an option.
