Counter Strike 1.6 V32b wont start windows 7 home premium 32 bit

My CS 1.6 wont start when i press the shortcut nothing happens? is it virus or anything? any help appreciated.



btw, the specs

compaq CQ40 laptop

C2D T6500 2.1 Ghz
Intel 4500MHD(GPU)
4gb RAM
