Hi guys!
I am trying to run a AMD XP1700 on the dragon+ I have tried to get a Volcano 7 to work without success. Can anyone recommend a good HSF or suggest a way to get the Volcano 7 to work with the board? Thanks guys

yes it will. Im running the same thing (Ok an 1800+ XP). the Dragon's Fan Off Control is set to 'on' as a default. Also the RPM cable, the one that connects to the dragon's CPU1 slot doesn't really work. THe motherboard does not detect the fan at startup, even though it can read it in bios. This basically means the dragon will shut down a few seconds after you turn it on. Just get a case fan, videocard fan, or something similar and plug it into the CPU1 slot at startup. Go to your bios and disable FOC. reset the system and thats it. Your volcano should work but you won't get FOC going unfortunatley.

OR you can leave your Volcano 7 connected and hold "insert" while it's starting, this will override FOC and allow you to turn it off in the BIOS.
