I have an athlonxp 1600 in the new soltek board. cpuid says my fsb is 141megahertz but the cpu clock is only at 1498 megahertz. Is this right? also, at what temp can this chip run at before I should be concerned? And how hot can my gainward ti 3 chip get before I should be worried?

Sure, that's right. The XP 1600+ is clocked normally at 1400 MHz. so by overclocking the fsb to 141, you gain 8 X 10.5 so that should be about 1485 MHz. Your 1498 probably reflects that your fsb is actually running slightly over 141.

As for the chip, you should try and keep it below 50 degrees centigrade if possible, however it will run OK in the mid 50's, but above that, you'll likely get some stability problems.

As for your vid card... I donno!
