Printing from Specific Trays with HP Laserjet 4000

I recently upgraded from Windows 98 to XP. I also upgraded Word 2003 from
Word 2000. My printing issue seems to be that I cannot print from my Tray 3
unless I change under Printer Preferences so all paper prints from this tray.
Before the upgrade, I was able to have certain print jobs print from
different paper trays for each job by selecting the proper paper tray. Now,
even though the option to select these trays are there, the job will not
print correctly. Can anyone offer any assistance?
