Cyclic redundancy check, The Sims 3

Everytime I try to INSTALL the Sims 3 Ambitions, It wont work! Every 2 minutes it says
C:/...The Sims 3 Ambitions/Caches/Twinbrook.objectCache
wtf? Please help me. I love this game so much and I want it to work again!

Either the disk is damaged or the optical drive is dying. On very rare occasions, it can be psu, data cable or even the motherboard data cable socket.
