is the fan inside theDuron retail box good enough

hi,there.
I am going to uppergrade my system. I try to get a Tyan tiger MP mother board with Dual Duron 1 Ghz.
The retail box Duron 1 Ghz include a fan and heat sink.

I just wonder if these fans are good enough for cooling.

it depends on if you are going to overclock, or do anything that might put a little stress on the chip. I was not impressed with the stock fan that came with my 1700 XP.
you could try the stock heatsink+fan and watch the temps, and if you are getting random lock-ups or are running really high temps Then you might want to get a better heatsink+fan.

case air-flow is a key part in keping any chip cool.

you should be fine, as long as you dont overclock the chip its insured so it doesnt really matter does it

if in doubt blame microsoft...
