Arma 2 Day Z FPS issue

Hi, I'm new to the forums and I have a little issue with Arma 2 (Day Z) and the frames I've been getting. A friend and I play together on during our playtime and I get an average of 30-40 FPS while he averages 60-70 FPS. I don't really know what the hardware/software problem is that's slowing me down compared to his computer since I OC both my CPU and GPU while he only OC's his CPU.

My Specs:
AMD Athlon II X4 635 (OC'd at 3.5 GHz)
570 GTX (OC at 870 Mhz Core & 1950 Mhz memory)
4GB of DDR3 RAM
Windows 7
Asus M4A77TD Mother board

My friend's specs:
Intel i5 2500k (OC'd 4.3 Ghz)
560 GTX (stock)
8GB of DDR3
Windows 7
AS Rock Extreme 3 Gen 3 Motherboard

Any thoughts or obvious things that I need to change in order to get close to/exceed his frames?

It is your CPU slowing you down, I went from a core 2 quad to an i7 and gained 20fps in Arma 2.
  2. *sigh* really? I guess I'll need to buy a i5 2500k and a new mobo for the CPU to sit on.... there goes 400 bucks. =/

EDIT: Is there a CPU equivalent of an i5 that my AMD mobo can fit?
