Okay...
WindowsXP
Setup a shared printer to Okidata Pacemark printer.
Printed system.ini no problem
envoked the net use lpt1: \\comp_name\Ptr_Name and attempt to print...the
job seems to spool indefinately in the printer object in Windows.

The job never leaves the queue. "spooling local downlevel document"

Thoughts?

See http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/printfromdos.htm. Sounds like you have
case 1, so using the net use command will indeed cause the print spooler
looping you describe.
