Call of duty mw3

When I install it I get three icons.
Out of those what is MW3 Dedicated server?
I double click it and a window opens and says -

version 1.9.433
Connecting to online services............
Connected to online services.
Executing server config "server.cfg"

It stays like that for awhile and nothing happened so I closed it.
What does it do?

It's function is to create your own server.
