hi there,

i am trying to overclock this 1200mhz/256kg puppy
but the opportunity to adjust the voltage has been
reduced to 2 entries: 1,75 + 1,80 volt.
Is there a bios that supports a bigger + lower range ?
I think i cant overclock to more than 1400 because
the cpu is overheating (70-80 dec c).
I havent found older bioses than 107 in the web,
if you know a location, pls tell me.

What is your maxspeed with this cpu ?

I think your heat sink isnt fixed properly, at 1400, it shouldnt reach more than even 60. if you are worried about just the temperature but the system is stable, then it might not be the temperatre at all.

for one, almost all asus boards report the temperature about 10°C too high, and second, it shouldnt be even this high in the first place.

try replacing the cooler, maybe your fan is runing slower.
