I have a custom built desktop computer. It has an AMD Athlon II X4 645 3.1GHz CPU, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a Geforce GTX 460 XLR8 GPU, SSD for OS, 2TB hard Drive for backup and storage. It also has a really good power supply it's a CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2. It was a budget build from last year. I paid $500 for the entire system including accessories and the OS. I think it was a good deal.

Yes it was a good deal for last year you could get better for $500 now but not massively.

Agreed. Today it is a pretty good deal, a year ago it was a great deal. You should be fine with most games, however, with BF3 and some very new titles the 460 might start to show it's age a little bit. By no means will it not be able to play games, you will just have to settle for medium settings or below for most games. This all depends on what resolution you game at and how demanding the game actually is.
