Hey all, our firebox 1000 broke, no warranty
we are looking for a cheap replacement product that will handle mutiple
incoming IPs with certain ports mapped to servers, as well as NAT for the
rest of the workstations

There is the 700 series and the 500 series. If you have a WG Firebox
1000 you have a nice unit. Why not get it fixed from a VAR? There isn't
much to them, it's just a hardened PC (like most appliances).
The 700 can be purchased for about $1600.

any cheap ol' junker you've got lying around, 2 nics, and any linux or
*bsd distro will do just fine.
also, if you don't want to have to deal with setting up a working
linux or bsd installation, you can try one of the ready to go
modified distributions like smoothwall:
http://www.smoothwall.org/
it will do everything your firebox did, but is free (excluding the cost
of your cheap ol' junker computer with 2 nics)
