I have the seemingly common problem of print spooler service not running,
however when I go to start it, it seems as if it doesn't exist. Admin Tools,
Services shows no signs of it. net start spooler returns message "the
service name is invalid".

What gives?

Will I have to scratch this thing and reinstall?
