I have the Sims 2 Double Deluxe, and I've had it for a long time and I've never had this problem. The game loads fine. Then, I click on a house and it's loading the family when it crashes. It's done this several times. I've looked for a solution online, but couldn't find a solution. I don't download custom content, which was the cause of issue for other people. How do I get it to stop crashing and let me play?
