Well your CPU is only a dual-core, with the recommended specs stating a Quad core but I would have thought the GPU would be a bottleneck long before your processor - however, you may want to avoid 64 player games on smaller maps, you may find you lag a bit there.

Yeah it is a really good budget cpu, I got this CPU for two reasons 1. It's the same socket as the i3 i5 i7 so I can upgrade later and 2. I don't like amd.

Like the others said, your Pentium isn't all that bad. Its basically an i3 without hyperthreading, which doesn't help much in games.

The GTX 550Ti is an OK entry level graphics card.

Most games don't really care which CPU you have, as long as it is at least dual core and like 2.5 GHz. Its mostly about the GPU. There are some exceptions, but your CPU should be fine for the time being.

1080p at medium you will sit around 30FPS with dips so not really smooth and depending on your taste not so great FPS (I know this as I used a 550ti for a while this year) If you whack it all to low though you will stay above 60FPS (@1080p).

Your CPU will cause some issue on maps with larger player counts but should still be playable.
