Hi, I just bought a Thermaltake Volcano 6 Cu+. I need to know if I should use the thermal pad that comes with it, or if I should remove that and apply something like arctic silver? Also, when i remove the old hsf, will i run into any problems with it being stuck to the cpu? Will it be hard to get off?

the pad is okay if you don't have thermal paste handy, but you'll need the paste if you ever remove the cooler from the CPU.

I recommend removing it, I ran my hs with it on fer awhile then took it off and put artic silver 2 on, the artic silver 2 dropped my temp about 3-4 degree Celsius
