Background: Windows XP Professional machine connecting to a Windows 2000
Active Directory network. My company has a pretty tough Group Policy in lab
of 30 or so machines that restricts just about everything. One of those
things is the ability to Add and browse the network for Printers. I
usually have to drop the user into an unrestricted OU within Active
Directory, log into the machine as the user, add the printer, put the user
back into the restricted OU in Active Directory and then log the user out
and back in a couple of times. Does this make sense??? Is there a way for
me to add a printer to a user's profile by logging is as Local Admin maybe?
