I've been looking to buy a new gaming desktop to be able to play on high or close to high settings on today's modern games. At most I was willing to spend from about 900-1200$. I don't really know much about all the specs for computers which is why I came here.

I found one I am interested in, but would just like to ask everyone here if it is a good deal for the price?

It's an i Buy Power and costs $1,199.99

Processor- Intel® 3rd Generation Core™ i7
Speed at 3.5 GHz

16GB of RAM ddr3

1TB hardrive

Graphics- Nvidia GTX 560
2GB dedicated

700 Watt power

GA-B75M-D3H motherboard.

Thank you for your replies. I also know that building your own would always get a you a better deal, it is just too much of an inconvenience for me to find someone to build it for me. And I'm afraid I would buy incompatible parts, etc.

the GTX 560 is a bit under powered for flat out ultra 1080p gaming and i have no clue how they got the price up to $2k but its not from the hardware you listed

WOOPS price is actually $ 1,199.99. A typo, my apologies :)

Also, it doesn't have to be completely max settings.. I just want to be able to play games comfortably for next couple of years without going to low settings.

I'm looking at the cyperpower web site, cyber power / ibuy power are the same company with a different name, and you can get
the i5-3570k + AMD 7850 + corsair 500w PSU for $1k and that will give you better gaming benchmarks the the system you listed above. getting a more expensive CPU won't help with gaming as the 3570 can be OC and games rarely take advantage of HT on the more expensive intel CPUs plus the AMD 7850 is a better card then the nvidia GTX 560
