Do Durons run hotter than the Athlons XP ?

While my AthlonXP 1600+ (1400MHz) runs at 43C,
my new Duron 1000 (Morgan core) runs at 51C
(same case, mobo, HSF), although it seems to handle better my o/c the FSB.

I have seen that low 40s seem to be the standard for XPs.
What about the new Durons (Morgan core)?

Don't know about XPs and Morgans. The Spitfire Durons ran hotter than Thunderbirds. My Duron 600@1007 mhz ran temps from 42-50 degrees. My Tbird (same HSF) 1000@1500 mhz runs about the same temps. That's using the same HSF. Durons have more trouble disipating heat because the die size is smaller, less surface area to transfer heat to the heatsink.
