I am suddenly not receiving text messages from my friends, and i don't know
why. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a motorola V710.

can you get them from www.vtext.com ? try that out and if that doesnt
work call *611 and have them review your features. Shortcut is to
press 0 to talk to a person.
