Well, I might have reached the end of my sanity, but now I want OC every computer I can get my hands on, this being the latest

Possible, Pipedream? This is the comp I just put together for my family, and I am trying to get a bit more out of it for what it is... and it is kind of a new toy... as long as I dont break it it's cool. I am going to be putting in a 16Mb Voodoo 3 3000 PCI in a few days, just got to get it back off of a friend. and maybe find some more RAM laying around here.

Lemme know guys, should I chance it ? I am wary bout it, and I have no clue about Intel Chipsets (AMD, Whoopa*$ inside)

How are you going to overclock the Seattle board? There are no jumper to set, the speed is automatically detected through the bios and is not adjustable.

Intel = Ford

Yes, you'll have to use software to overclock, such as SoftFSB, CPUCool, etc.

I have a PIII-500 (Katmai) that I've run at 600 (on a P3B-F) for years and years. It's a great computer.

I just gave my sister in law a p3 450-SL35D that has been running at 650 for almost 4 years now.
Software overclocking is your only option.

How much extra cooling is need for this? I got a stock heatsink with dual fans, plus a case fan with TONS of extra room for air movement. This good enough?
