Ok so I'm trying out Windows 8. I transfered all of my stuff over which was actually really easy and took nearly no time at all. I try to run Crysis 2 with my GTX560Ti and the game opens and runs fine, but the screen size is messed up. I'll post a picture of what it looks like.

what size is your monitor? i am using a 40" 1080i LCD TV and always ran it at 720p, lots of my games and even my normal resolution when using win8 was never working properly until i went in to the monitor settings and enable all screen resolutions, i had to choose a resolution that was close to 720p it was a little off like 1312x793 (which is messed up, but it came up like that).

in all the games i have tried out so far they all show this odd resolution, i have not been able to test my copy of crysis 2 yet though

I have a 23" LCD monitor but I've always been able to run it in 1080p in windows 7. I figured out that the problem was actually DX 11. I switched it back to DX 11.1 and it worked fine.

Alt + enter! That's the keyboard shortcut that should fix it.
