I have an HP Laserjet 1500 color printer installed on a W2K server,
it’s set up as a shared printer over my network. I’m experiencing
problems when sending print jobs from a WXP machine with SP2 loaded.

My problem is happening when printing a spreadsheet from Excel- some
of the formatting (such as lines and colored cells) is printing but
none of the data in the cells are printing. If this same spreadsheet
is printed to a HP 5Si it print’s fine.

To test the printer, I printed a different file (Excel spreadsheet as
well) to the 1500- everything printed perfect as it should. I had
color data and black data all print. To me, the printer appears to be
fine.

This would lead me to believe I have a problem either with the Excel
file, or with drivers on my printer. If it weren’t for the file
printing perfectly on the 5Si I’d say it was the file- but now I’m at
a loss.
