I'm in the process of building a new system and I'm brand new too overclocking. Do I have to buy something else to monitor my CPU Temperature? So far I have a ASUS A7v333 Motherboard, XP 2000+ Processor, Swiftech MCX462 Heatsink; all coming soon.

I have an Asus A7A266 so it is a little but the cd-rom that came with the board, the one with all the drivers, should have some kind of utility that monitors your motherboard and cpu. The one for my motherboard is called Asus Probe.

YOu can get a program called Mother Board Monitor. It lets you monitor temps, fan speeds and voltages. You can even set alarms and reactions for them when the temp goes too high.

Crashing takes on a whole new meaning at 9.8 m/s.

If you want a program with many functions goto <A HREF="http://mbm.livewiredev.com" target="_new">http://mbm.livewiredev.com</A> and download MBM5.
If you want a very easy program download ViaHM:
<A HREF="http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~svo/viahm.zip" target="_new">http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~svo/viahm.zip</A>.(<A HREF="http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~svo/viahmshot.jpg" target="_new">Screenshot</A>

There are people that say the Asus PCProbe has some weird bugs in it, so I advice you to use MBM or ViaHM.

It's not a bug, it's a feature
