I am looking for a good network monitoring software.
What I would like is:
Free please
allow ping of devices, snmp nice but not a must
email alerts on device down/up
web enabled would be great
not mrtg please, config is a pain and I don't think it has email.
cacti looked promising but never got it configured/installed
big sister never got installed
