Why does my computer restart itself while playing high end graphics ga

my computer HP Pavilion g6 always restart itself while playing games..why?

Spontaneous reboots tend to have one of two causes.

1: Heat
2: Power

Given we're dealing with an OEM computer, either one of those could be the issue. So the first thing I would recommend you do, is open up the computer and use a can of compressed air to blow out the vents and fans.

If that doesn't do it, then odds are your power supply is underpowered for what you're trying to do, and you'll have to replace it with a "bigger" PSU in its capacity.

I'd also suspect RAM, I've had same issue on my old PC and it turned out to be faulty RAM. Luckily, you can easily test it, just run memtest software! You can download it for free at www.memtest.org

+1 try memtest to check the RAM, download HWMonitor to check your temps. I think its a laptop so power is unlikely. You will get a better answer if you post the spec and which games.
