Nvidia driver 28.32 scores 1200 points less than 2

I have xp.
512mb ram
1.33ghs athlon
Geforce 3 ti200
Asus a7a266 mobo.

Score about 6600+ with the 23.11 drivers'but only 5400 with the 28.32.

Anyone know why the difference?

Nvidia does goofy things with their drivers. Originally, their oldest (and first) Detanator drivers proved to be poor performers until they tweaked them. This may just be the same case. I myself am a fan of the 23.11

I just downloaded the 28.32 drivers, but after reading this I will wait with installing them.

thats why i love driver rollback in windows XP. makes it nice and easy to go back to your favourite drivers. try new ones out one at a time, if you dont like them, rollback, then try a different one if you like. dont install more than one new set at a time.
