I just went out to get a better heatsink/fan combo for my Athlon XP 2000 I just got, and they didn't have any Thermaltake 6+ there, so I got the Thermaltake 7 (http://www.thermaltake.com/products/heatsink/v7.htm). My questions is: Will this break my motherboard? It seems like a rather heavy heatsink, but the cooling power and such on it made me really want to get it. It will be on an Asus A7V266-E motherboard (http://usa.asus.com/mb/socketa/a7v266-e/overview.htm). I am putting it all in an Antec SOHO case (http://www.antec-inc.com/product/cases/sohoser.html). Hope this helps!

i do have it. not installed yet. thats why i was asking. but after talking to my supervisor at work, who has a degree in engineering, he raised my confidence in the fact that it won't break. :D
