Games for windows live doesn't launch in games

Hi,
When I start Batman arkham asylum and press the 'home' key, games for windows live doesn't pop...
I don't know if it is related to this, but dirt 3 doesn't launch at all. I have windows 8 enterprise. Please help...

Are those steam versions or retail ones?

I'd suggest entering your product keys to steam and try launching them from it.
