Im trying to find a computer to play minecraft.

Hello,
I am looking for a computer that has the recommended specifications for Minecraft, with a fairly low cost. The recommended specifications are... CPU : Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 (K8) 2.6 GHz
RAM : 4GB
GPU : GeForce 6xxx or ATI Radeon 9xxx and up with OpenGL 2.0 support (excluding integrated chipsets)
HDD : 150MB
I want it to run at a smooth rate at max settings. If you know of any computers that fit these specifications, please tell. I hope you are able to help. Thanks.

Any modern computer with discrete graphics card will support minecraft. Are you willing to build one? Contrary to a popular belief, it's not a hard thing to do at all. Watch this video and you'll find it out

Any desktop above $800 will do, for a laptop I would go for one above $900

My pc (HP Pavilion dv7-6180eb) costs $1300 and I can run minecraft max settings with 60-70 frames per second.

No way you need to spend that much. $500-600 computer can easily max out minecraft.

You can find a good used or refurbished workstation and then buy a discrete graphics card for it and probably get out cheaper than building a new system.
