I need Silent fan for MCX462

I can't stand it no more. My heatsink fan is getting on my nerve..

Can anybody suggest 80mm fan that has noise level of less than or equal to 30db??

I overclocked my CPU from 1700+ to 1900+..

Nope!

That is the topic of a lot of threads. That heatsink needs a lot of CFM just to run at maximum. I think it is like 68.5CFM but don't quote me. (I don't feel like looking it up.) Look at the thread by Vince 604.

Here is what I did.... I took my Delta 80MM and ran it at 7V... its 5x as quiet and still runs cool (Temps maybe went up 2C).... Here is a link on how to run it at 7V... all you have to do is switch like 2 connector on the molex connector.. very easy
