Is my computer any good for gaming?

I've ordered a new computer from chillblast and I have customized it - they are still in the process of building it, and in the meantime I was wondering weather or not the specs are any good for gaming. The specs are:

Intel Core i5 2500K Processor 3.30 GHz (No Overclocking)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler 1
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Paste
Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard
8GB PC3-10666 1333MHz DDR3 Memory (2 x 4GB sticks)
Chillblast AMD Radeon HD 6850 1024MB Graphics Card
1000GB 7200RPM Hard Disk - 6Gbps
Sony 24x DVD-RW Drive 1
Xigmatek Premium Grade 500W PSU
Onboard High Definition Audio
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Standard Chillblast Cable Management

Awesome, now i know i didn't just waste £700

It's pretty good, but of course, you could have saved quite a bit if you decided to build your own machine .

Hi

Good machine with an "average at best" graphics card....

It will play games but dont plan on Ultra in BF3 for example, unless you upgrade the card..

Ah, looks like i'm gonna have to save for something, again. Any recommendation on a graphics card?

Depends on your budget. HD 6850 isn't a bad card, but it's not a high end card. To max out BF3 at 1920x1080, you'll need a card for 250 pounds...
