You could oc the A7V333. What chip u got? ANyways, i think u would have to change some jupers on it and stuff. Sorry i don't got that much experiances on the OC process.

Its really easy actually. Since you said newbie, I'm guessing your CPU is not unlocked. In that case, don't change the 12.5 multipier in your Bios. That only works if your CPU is unlocked, where you can choose the multiplier.

Since your CPU speed is your multipierxFSB, an XP 2000 (with a multipier of 12.5) running a FSB of 133 will yeild 1666mhz (12.5x133=1666). For you to overclock, just creep that FSB on your Bios up slowly (increments of 1). The higher the FSB, the higher the mhz but the hotter it gets. If you're using standard cooling, don't put it higher than 140 (12.5x140=1750) as temps get HOT.
