Would an air intake on the fan work?

I was wondering if it would be effective to put an intake hole in the side of my case and then put a flexible tube from this opening to the top of the processor fan. I was thinking this would cool it even more because it would be getting cool air from the outside and blowing it directly into the heatsink, instead of the heatsink fan recycling its own hot air. This is what it would kinda look like:

Do you guys think this would be effective? I would also add some fans, but I think this would cool down the processor even more.

I need a frickin' slot or case fan, my CPU's overheating more than a 13 year old in a strip club-JC

yes this can lower your temps a few degrees if your case temp is somewhat higher than room temperature. But if you already have good case flow the difference will be minimal,1 or 2 degrees at most.

I aint signing nothing!!!
