XP SP1 - send fax, 'fax server information cannot be retri..

hi
when i try to send fax, i get fax wizard and then 'fax server information
cannot be retrieved' error message, then wizard closes.
machine is AMD 1.3ghz with 1g ram running WinXP SP1
any ideas 'guys'
