New games in window mode

Hi,

I want to know if I can play games like BF3, COD MW3, NFS, Farcry 2, etc in window mode on lower resolution.
If i have 1920 by 1080 resolution monitor, but i want to play in 1600 by 900(or similar), but without blacking the screen sides. Like there are two black thick stripes on both sides. I don't want that. I want 1600 by 900 in window mode.

tell me which games support this.

Any application could support this, you would find the settings in the game options.

Set the resolution and then tick the "run in windowed mode" box
