Mirrors Edge Screen Tears

I currently upgraded from a asus gtx 260 to an msi gtx 660ti, originally I thought the tearing was caused by the old card not being able to provide a constant fps but turns out this isnt the issue, I did a clean install of the drivers and was wondering what could possibly be causing this issue, any help would be appreciated greatly.

  1. Try turning on Vsync or vertical sync in the graphical settings in the game.

Screen tearing is caused by your monitor going out of sync of your graphics card. That happens when you have much more frames per second than your monitor refresh rate. To fix it, enable vertical sync.
  3. vsync was turned off under the nvidea control panel for global settings
  4. And did you turn it on, if not then turn it on and click apply at the bottom.
