Athlon XP

i tried to connect the L1 briges like in toms guide. and it did nothing i was thinking maybe because mine is green and all of the ones ive seen it done on were the brown ones. i got the kit for it from highspeedpc.com. everyone gave it great reviwes so i decided to try it. i did it several times and got nothing. Does anyone know if the green chips are any different to unlock or did i just mess up a bunch of times?

I stand corrected. I have never seen a green Athlon. Learned something new. I have created a few purple ones though.

As you can see, it looks like AMD did some changes to the contacts that require further mods than just the L1. Just be careful if you do close bridges (especially using a Dremel!).
