How can i tell what FSB my 1400 is without taking of the fan and looking at the model number?

As i cannot set my FSB to 133mhz. It just sits there and the monitor does not turn on or boot up.

Yuo could always get CPUID. I'm pretty sure that tells you your FSB. Or run PC MARK 2002 from madonion.com. That also tells you your FSB I believe. With that 133MHz FSB, it'll overclock your CPU to ~1866MHz, which is pretty crazy for a T-bird.

My firewall tastes like burning.

As your comp doesn't boot up, there is no other way to tell except removing CPU and taking a look at its die.

What type of your mobo is? Are you sure it supports 133MHz FSB?

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

I am pretty sure the FSB is 100 MHz. And its a unlocked processor with multiplier of 14. When you try to set the FSB to 133 MHz, it attempts to run at 133 x 14 = 1866 MHz which is simply not possible under normal circumstances.

If it wasnt, why would one unlock the processor and increase the multipler so that it could run at lower clock?

Every point I make has 'n' perspectives!
Boy do I need a disclaimer for my every word?
