I'm sure all of you know from the THG case study, sometimes you can have too much cooling. I've experienced this. I put in a 3.5 induction fan, which actually caused the temperature inside the case (from BIOS) to increase by 5 degrees. I didn't do any tests with smoke or anything, but I could only figure that I disrupted the flow of air. Be careful people =)

If only the AmVidia story were true! Those funny ATI guys...

The only way that adding a new fan would increase the tmep is if the airflow was disturbed, or maybe the fan was blowing the wrong way.

Yes please remember:

fan----> <----fan

Doesn't do any good. The effects cancel and we are left with nothing but heat.

OBTW, the problem is cancelled cooling effects not overcooling.
