OEM Airflow specs

Does anyone know if oem's have specs for airflows within
their machines??
I have a dell 8200 ,and I want to stick a fan in one of the 5 1/4 bays on the front of the machine.
BUT I don't want to if it upsets the airflow design.

Cheers

if you do, just make it pull air out. why do you want another fan in a dell anyway? you cant overclock them, and how many more drives can you add on those wimpy hard drives?

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

In most larger OEM cases, you shouldn't need to add cooling help. They spend a lot of time with case designs to insure good airflow. After all, if you're selling ten's of thousands of PC's, you wouldn't risk a sloppy design due to warranty issues. Unless you've done some major mod's(hard to do with most OEM's), you'll be fine.

 Save heating costs on your home, overclock your PC!!!

I put an extra hard drive into my pc
Both hard drives where within 10 - 15 mm of each other.
My concern was for the drives.

I got a firewire case and stuck my CDR drive into it .

Put my second hard drive into the cdrom slot ,put a titan triple fan on the front of the case for drive .

Put a titan wave hard drive fan on my primary drive.

Is this ok???? Or would you leave system as it was?

I can get a Titan PCI slot exhaust fan .

I took out the fans and put my system back as it was

I put my second hard drive into my firewire case and I formated the firecase drive as FAT32 and use it solely for MP3 files ,so i can bring it anywhere 30GB MP3 at 190KBPS
I'm going to buy an 80GB Hard drive as secondary in the machine for using cladvd

So if you think the OEM Air specs are good enough ,I'm happy with it

Thanks ,much appreciated your info.

I noticed using Cache on ,on the firewire drive brings cpu usage from 95% to 8%
