Counter Strike Gobal Offensive

How do you all like the newest addition to the counter strike dynasty (especially my brothers that have been playing way before steam was conceived)?

Personally, just as every new cs game I love it and think it’s a great build on the last

I've played counter strike since 1.2 but I'm a bit put off paying for CS:GO.

Sure it's prettier now but I see many of the same maps and they seem to have rebranded the mod 'gun game' an official game mode.

Perhaps you can convince me otherwise. What is my cynical mind missing?

im in the same boat, been playing since 1.2, have loved source since it was released and now looking at CS:GO i dont find a need to buy it, even though it is quite inexpensive. other than a couple add in weapons and modified maps and game modes, i dont really see the need to buy it over Source.

I may buy it during the holidays when they decide to slash the price
